The Widow’s Pantry Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides services to the homeless, unemployed and underemployed each month at Farragut Square Park (serving in Franklin Square Park prior to the 2020 pandemic).

As volunteers, we serve hot meals and bagged lunches, distribute seasonal clothing, provide spiritual encouragement and information resources.

We’ve served over 10,000 meals over the past 10 years.

The Widow’s Pantry Inc. is 100% volunteer driven and supported by donations. No one receives a salary.

$15.00 will purchase 50 disposable masks
$20.00 will purchase 40 bars of soap or 20 tubes of tooth paste
$25.00 will purchase 75 wash cloths or 20 bottles of hand sanitizers
$35.00 will provide 28 bag lunches
$55.00 will purchase 50 Christian Bibles
$100.00 will purchase 4 new winter coats


Friends of the Pantry

The Widow’s Pantry invites you to an annual partnership, “Friends of the Pantry Partnership” (FPP), to partner with us for the current calendar year.  Your partnership gives back to the community and supports a God ordained service ministry.

Food items purchased to help us serve are tax deductible. You must let the Food Team Leader know of any donated food items you bring to the park.
