DO’S AND DON’TS

 

 

 

The Widow’s Pantry Life Skill center was designed to help our clients become prepared to face
daily challenges of life and enhance their skills and talents.
So that we can provide the best experience with this environment, we encourage the clients of this
program to:
*Be on time for class.
*Complete homework assignments.
* Let the coordinator know when you are having trouble with the course.
*Contact The Widow’s Pantry on (202) 723-6839, or Rev. Ben Robinson (240) 467-4418,
Coordinator, if you have a need to be absent.
*Inform the coordinator when you have a need for a mentor.
I. In person users (at Starbucks)
A. Must be vaccinated and wear masks in class
B. In person users are allowed to access the classes on their phone when they
are not in person classes
C. If going to be late, notify Coordinator via phone call or text
D. If you will be absent, give at least 1 day notice
E. Can have no more than 3 absences per semester (5 weeks)
F. In person users may be able to choose up to 3 courses per semester
II. Remote users
A. They check in 10am Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the devotion using
Freeconferencecalls.com. 518 992-1182, access no. 931862#
B. For those that work and can’t call at 10am, a second devotion can be done at lunch
time (12noon).
C. Then can hang up and work remotely
D. If they miss 3 call-ins unless it is an emergency, they will be out
of the program. If they will be absent, give at least 1 day notice
E. If going to be late, notify Coordinator via phone call or text
F. Remote users may be able to choose up to 4 courses per semester. This can be a
combination of required courses and electives.

Please be aware the following conditions are cause for removal from the program
*Destruction of property.
*Negative behavior towards the Starbucks premises, employees, class attendees, and instructors.
